Pretty colours, nice patterns This book seemed to promise lots of new ideas, so I was disappointed to discover that it's really more like 2 or 3 bags, 25 colour combinations. As well, most of the patterns are written for one brand of yarn, and an expensive one at that. On the positive side, the colours are lovely, and it would be a great book for someone who likes to knit exactly to pattern. Photographs are also just beautiful and good for colour and texture inspiration. Not great for people who like to tweak though...and I was amazed that there are no (maybe one?) patterns that use circular needles!
