Not what I expected: Unfortunately, although I read very good reviews on this book, it is not what I expected and doesn't cover many vegetables in great detail. Most of what I'm growing in containers is not covered in this book, which is what I was hoping for. Probably my fault, I should have researched more before buying.
Beautiful and extrememly helpful: For an apartment-dweller this is an inspiring and helpful book on how to keep your hands in the dirt and eat your own home-grown veggies!!! LOVE it!
Very happy: Item received on time and in condition as described. Would do business with this seller again!
Not specific to containers: Though this book is filled with useful information, I was able to attain most of it from the internet and regular gardening books. I was really looking for a book that had more specifics on the size of pots, specific watering for each type of plant in a pot, how much space each takes up and ideas for succession planting to make use of my tiny space. This book does not provide this info and I am yet to find one that does.
Book Review: This item was a gift for my discerning daughter. She has read many books on container gardening and found them wanting. I finally came upon this title on a heritage seed saver site. I was unable to order from that seller so went on Amazon to order from this seller. Book arrived in excellent condition in time for the holiday. My daughter whole-heartedly endorses this book. She felt it to be really useful for those who like to grow vegetables in containers. This is a topic that is usually not covered extensively in other texts. So I am very satisfied with this product
