great I thought this book was quite clever and fun, not only for my 4 year old daughter, but for me too! We thought "Slug" was a very cute and and quite a "hungry dude'. I am disappointed that the others are not available I Love Slug I am dying! This is the best book ever. My little boy loves it - but he's wearing it out. We found Brain Cell, but can't find the others in the series. If anybody knows where these books are - I will buy about 20 copies of each! ADORABLE & FUNNY!!! My grandson is 3 years old and after reading "Slug" to him 3 or 4 times, he began memorizing it! He can "read" the book to us now! He even refers to himself as a "hungry little dude" at dinnertime. It's absolutely his favorite book! Sure wish we could find the others in the series. A fun slug book This is a book about a slug that eats anything green. The story is fun, the meter is good, the rhyming is enjoyable. (No, I did not get it for any kid, I bought the book for myself!) A creative masterpiece! My daughter received this book for her 2nd birthday (in 1998) and could recite it soon after. Unfortunately at some point she spilled something all over it and the pages stuck together and ripped. I had thrown it away and forgotten about it, until the other day when I was watching an old videotape of her, and there she was, saying "Slug was very greedy, he really loved to eat...". This book uses creative vocabulary and simple rhyme to tell a very cute little story. From reading the other reviews of this book, I wonder what kind of marketing genius it would take to get this book reprinted? I WANT IT (and so do other parents!)!! See also:
