Mikey Mite brings the house down when he plays the part of the jester in the school play. Everyone is the gym laughs and laughs--everyone, that is, except Mikey' s dad, who doesn' t even show up. Mikey' s dad has a serious problem, and his whole family suffers because of it. When he gets into a car accident, Mikey comes out of it with a broken arm--and his dad realizes he' ll have to change, for the good of everyone. Finally things at Mikey' s house start to seem more like normal. Mikey Mite' s Big Problem is a story about a boy growing up in a troubled family, and how crisis forces them to change.
