Awesome book for a new way of life!:
This isn't a typical diet book that's written to make things too easy and/or confuse you with un-verifiable 'facts'. It takes a little effort to read and to prepare to start the diet but I thought of it as a preparation to changing my life. I've lost about 60 pounds so far and, even better, am much healthier, have more energy and look much better (aside from the weight loss). There's no weird concoctions, shakes, or other kinds of gimmicks that can't be sustained, it's all good, natural, healthy food right from the grocery store. There are some awesome recipes but if you don't like to cook much (like me) there are plenty of throw-together things you can do and stick to the diet easily. I recommend this book and diet 100%!!

Confusing, dissappointing, hard to use:
I'd rate this a 2-1/2 stars if I could. This book is just plain hard to use. I have Dr. Platt's original Superfoods book which I loved. And, I was looking forward to a book that would show me how to "put it all together." The recipes are not inspired. There are no calories or carbohydrate grams listed. And, for those of us that need to count carbs, calories, or points, that is a problem. I did like some of the ideas. But, I'm a mix and match kind of person. Give me a list of ideas on how to include these foods in my current recipes. I found David Grotto's 101 Foods That Can Save Your Life MUCH more helpful. And, his recipes are tastier. Many of David's recipes have more than one superfood. Plus, they have nutritional information on them. He even has a week-long 2000-calorie menu in the back of the book. So, I've been using David Grotto's 101 Foods, Chef Nancy Berkof's Vegan Menus For People With Diabetes, and Jorge Cruise's 3-Hour Diet Cookbook. I can't fault the information in The Superfoods Diet. It's the execution that I had a hard time with

The SuperFoods RX Diet:
This book is loaded with awesome information! Once you understand exactly how this work, it is very easy. It can be a little difficult to digest all of the information. There is so much, that it may be intimidating to some. The food is good, and the results are great! I lost 9# my first week. I rarely feel hungry. I find it hard most of the time to consume all of the food you are supposed to. If you are considering getting this book, just get it. I feel it is worth every penny I spent.

Get In On The 'SuperFoods' Bandwagon!:
One of the freshest new words to appear in the vernacular of diet and health over the past few years is the term "superfoods." This describes those foods that are very powerful for your body because of their superior nutritional content. Things like blueberries, walnuts, strawberries, and tomatoes have been elevated to a new level because of the high amounts of nutrients, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and phytochemicals. This book seeks to use these superfoods in combination to help with weight loss and improving health. Not all of these superfoods are necessarily low-carb, but you can pick and choose the ones that work best within your chosen nutritional plan.

Awful Recipes:
Does the author of this book have any taste buds at all? I think not
