Its brightly colored (yellow, red, teal, and purple) plastic sections snap together quickly, and they won't rot. Wide, multi-level platforms make it easy for little ones to climb up to the slide. Easy assembly. Measures 66" x 56.50" x 45.25". Ok, Not Great!! -- Pros: 1. Nice color 2. Good size slide for a toddler, compare with other similar products out there. 3. It doesn't take up too much space. We have it in our game room. 4. Once you get it together, it seems to be pretty sturdy. 5. Little Tikes' customer service is slow but nice. Cons: 1. It came with missing and defective parts. 2. The edges/corners of many pieces require extensive trimming/sanding. They are not smoothed out or nicely trimmed at the factory, potentially dangerous to toddler's knees, hands, or elbows, as she/he climbing in and out the unit. 3. One of the replacement part that we received was 3x worse than the original part we had. Would we buy it again?? Probably Not. If we gonna buy something like this again, we most likely would go with Step2. We purchased several items from Little Tikes, not too impressed with their QC, larger/complicated items seem to be more problematic. Smaller toys, LT is ok. Little Tikes Hide & Slide Climber -- I purchased this climber for my 18 month old boy/girl twins for Christmas. It took them 2 days to learn to climb and slide down all by themselves. They play with this ALL day. My son loves to hide underneath the slide while my daughter sits like the queen on the top of the slide. I am very happy with this purchase and so are they! Great Climbing Toy -- We bought this for our grandson's first birthday. Although he is a big boy he is a little young for it right now. Awesome Toy -- Actually, I purchased this toy directly from Little Tikes website. I think it's a very reasonably priced slide and much bigger than the picture would lead you to believe. Another positive is that it isn't too heavy, so there were no crazy shipping surcharges. I had almost purchased the kangaroo climber and I'm so glad I didn't. The kangaroo is much smaller yet almost the same price. I purchased this for my 2 year old and we've had it for about 6 months. It's the perfect size for her--big enough that it doesn't bore her yet not too big that I worry about her climbing on. We keep ours inside the house. Little Tikes products tend to fade in the sun very quickly, especially the red and yellow colors. Assembly was a bit of a pain. The slide was a tight squeeze and none of the holes were pre-drilled (fortunately there weren't that many screws). Looking back, a rubber mallet or a bit of cooking spray would have helped ease the slide in better as opposed to me kicking it into place =) Great toy, great value for your money. I don't regret my purchase at all. Another Great Product From Little Tikes -- It has been too cold to spend alot of time out, but the time we have been out our 17 month old daughter loves it. It is very easy for her to climb up and slide down. There are little open slots for her to put her little fingers into and that helps pull herself up. We are very pleased with this purchase.
