* Turn an ordinary lunch into an elegant event with sandwich cut-outs, lacy placemats, and pretty place cards * The Musical Tea Set features "tip me over" ... and hear magic pouring sounds * Includes four cups, saucers and spoons, creamer, sugar bowl with lid, PLUS everything fits on tray for serving * Preschool Classics Musical Tea Set Every child should have a tea set somewhere in the toy box, not just for feeding favorite dollies and teddies, but also for practicing tea-party manners before a special party or dinner. This molded plastic set is made with the thoughtful design and extra-durable materials of most Fisher-Price toys, with the added bonus of a jolly musical teapot. It plays "I'm a Little Teapot" when the top of the lid is pressed, and also provides a "magical" chiming noise when the pot is poured (requires two button-cell batteries; included). The set includes four teacups in pastel shades, matching saucers, a sugar bowl, a creamer, and four white spoons. Everything fits onto a sturdy lavender tray with large handles and a built-in stand for the teapot. --Marcie Bovetz -- Editorial Review There's something magical about a tea party! Tip this teapot over for magic pouring sounds, or press the lid to hear a tea time tune! Set includes four cups, saucers and spoons, plus a creamer and sugar bowl with lid, and a tray for serving treats. Requires 2 replaceable button-cell (LR44 or equivalent) alkaline batteries. Thunder is the head of the ecovores. Kids press a button to make him stomp and roar. Comes with 3 smaller dinosaurs and a cave man. Great Toy But You Cannot Put Liquid In It!!! -- BEWARE! I got this for my 2 year old's birthday and she was immediately in love with it. The problem is that the teacups each have 2 small HOLES near the top of the cup!! Which means that when a child tries to drink real "tea," the liquid drips all over their shirt and the floor! I called Fisher Price and was told that this was a new "European regulation"--something to do with kids not being able to drown themselves in a cup... They said that every teapot sold since MAY 2007 has the holes in it. Also the set is allegedly not meant to have liquid in it, even though the directions that came with it do not say that, and even say to protect play surfaces from liquid. I said, ok, but we don't live in Europe, can I order replacement cups? and said no, they are all made that way now, and actually told me to try looking for an older model at Big Lots, Ollies, or other closeout stores. Have you ever seen a kid that didn't want to put water in a teacup? My daughter had it open for 10 minutes before she ran to the sink to fill it up! Then she had water all over the place! I recommend that you keeping looking if you want a fun teaset. This one would get 5 stars from me if it didn't have HOLES in it! Disappointed Children -- My 3 year old and 18 month old were so excited to get this tea set for Christmas. Within minutes my 3 year old wanted to fill it with water and fill all the cups. That's when we discovered two holes in the side of each cup. It's a mess. The children were so sad. Now it sits in the cupboard and I doubt it will get played with much more. I'm disappointed I was not warned before purchasing about the holes in the sides of all the cups. If you are debating between two sets don't go with this one. Tea Party For One -- My four year old daughter can play with this for hours. She loves it. It colorful and surprisingly durable. I highly recommend it. Great Gift! -- My 2 year old received this for Christmas, and has loved it since she opened the package! This would make a wonderful addition to any little girl's kitchen, as it is as durable as it is pretty. I would buy this as a gift for someone else in a heartbeat!! Absolutely Wonderful Teaset! -- My daughter (now 19.5 months) received this tea set for Christmas and she absolutely loves it! She plays with it every single day and loves to have tea. We have never had anything in the cups, but the tea pot and cups are big enough to actually have water in them to play with when she gets older. She just absolutely loves to pour the tea and stir and drink from the cup, its very cute. The only thing that I have noticed: When you tip the tea pot, it makes a little sound that you tip it. This little sound is there even when you play the "I'm a little teapot" song - so the song and the sound overlap each other.. so that is a little annoying, but still an absolutely wonderful toy for any little girl!
