1996 Green Beeng Cha is known for the old tree leaves that it is made from. The leaves are large, intact and still raw; they are preserved perfectly for brewing or additional aging. The leaves are deep brown in color. The taste is light and mild, with a full aftertaste. There is nothing like tapping into the budding flavor of your tea cake, only to understand the true complexities of its potential years down the road when you taste its brew again.
