Songs like Julio Gutierrez' "En La Habana", the hypnotic Portillo de la Luz' "Noche en el Mar" and Marta Valdes' architectural song, "Por La Habana", are treasures to be cherished. "El cantaro azul" is so full of mystery and beauty and magic. Even "Esto no es una elegia", by Silvio Rodriguez (whom I consider fake composer and a fake everything), sounds exquisite in Ms. Ramos' velvety voice.
