So-So Crusher: Like others have said, it will break, belying the "Heavy Duty" tag. Ours lasted about 3 years (6 - 10 cans/day) before the rivet connecting the handle to the lever arm failed. Even when new, it wouldn't crush cans very flat, so I often stacked two crushed cans together and ran through another cycle to really flatten them. Before it failed, it would also squirt the cans out the front unless you held them in place. I'm trying the Pacific Precision Metals #77701 next because of the large number of rave reviews for that product.
Cheap and flimsy: This is a very flimsy product. The seller was busy and would get back to me about returning the item. That was four months ago. First and last time I would buy from them.
Can Squirter: I cannot recommend this product. The design feature of sloped surfaces which is touted to permit the easy expulsion of the crushed product work indeed to expel the can before it is crushed. I have chased too many partially crumbled cans under my car in the garage so I am in the process of replacing this crusher with one that has crushing surfaces at 90 deg. to the length of the can. It does have a nice rubber grip.
cheap product, broke within 10 minutes of first use, don't buy!: If I could give this product 0 stars I would. I just received this can crusher today, hung it up on the garage wall and started crushing pepsi and beer cans, within less than 10 minutes the lever arms bent and after straightening them out as much as I could a few times and continuing to crush more cans the right side rivet holding the handle snapped and the handle broke off. Box says Heavy Gauge steel, I don't think that includes the lever portion of the unit. Cheap shoddy product got it's *ss whooped by a few pepsi cans. I'll look for a heavy duty nylon can crusher like the EasyPull brand one I used to have but unfortunately left behind at my old residence when I moved, it lasted me for years and years.
Best can crusher I have found: I bought two different can crushers before finally buying this one. It is the best constructed crusher that I have found and it is the most solid.
