Very Comfortable - Not Very Durable: I loved these slippers at first. The Temper-Pedic memory foam was heavenly and the shoes were very comfortable. I fell in love with these instantly. Within a week the cloth upper separated from the rubber sole. I glued it back. Then a few weeks later the cloth insole (that covers the foam) began wearing out. Before long the memory foam was exposed. The cloth is not durable enough. It is a terry cloth type material and just can't tolerate walking on. Then finally the memory foam broke down and no longer retains any "memory" of it's original shape. While these slippers are still comfortable, they were basically completely worn out within two to three months. At $50, I would want slippers to last years, not weeks. It's a bad bargain.
Annoyed: The first time I put these on and walked into our kitchen I noticed a trail of black marks that followed me across the linoleum floor. I didn't think a lot of it at first. I figured the marks would easily buff out. So I got down on my hands and knees and proceeded to scrub. I scrubbed for about 20min on one single spot with bleach and water. I also tried other cleaners on different areas. I still haven't been able to remove all of the marks, and I plan to call Brookstone about the incident. I would give them one star because they were comfortable, but not worth the aggravation of having to spend two hours scrubbing the floor with chemicals. Im considering a video review of what a pain this has been.
Tempurpedic slippers: This is the second pair I have bought for my Dad in the past three years. He loves them! The hard sole lets them be used outside as well. I highly recommend them!
