Hands-Free Soap Dispenser

Categories:

Features:
  • Wave your hand under the spout for a dollop of your favorite liquid soap.
  • Sensor lockout feature prevents accidental dispensing.
  • Has a no drip spout.
  • Works with face soaps, lotions and sunscreens too.
  • Uses three AA batteries (not included).

Nice model:
No complaints with this product. We noticed that you do get too much soap if you leave your hand under the spout as long as it keeps dispensing. Simple solution: drop your hand down out of the sensor range to stop the flow. That way you get only what you need. One reviewer mentioned that the batteries are on top in this model - a definite must! Great capacity, we go several weeks before refilling. I'm surprised that this thing actually works and we love it!

Great idea- wastes soap:
I love the germ free idea of this product. We do use it all the time. It works seamlessly every time. My only problem is that it dispenses way too much soap. We have it on the lowest setting and it still spits out a ton of soap.

hands free:
I am sorry that I bought this brand of dispenser. The neck is too narrow to easily fill. The sensor frequently fails to register and it erratically dispenses soap. It leaks all over the counter. The base slides across the counter. Price is too high for such a problematic item.

Stopped working within two days:
As noted in reviews on other sites, this product basically doesnt work. It worked for a day, then the sensor gave out. I would recommend very highly that nobody buy it and avoid products made by this manufacturer.

OK, But I Miss My Soap Genie:
I had the Soap Genie from Sharper Image sitting by my kitchen sink for several years and absolutely loved it. It's great to be able to get soap to wash my hands after handling raw meat! Unfortunately it finally died and I decided it was time for a new one. I received this dispenser and put it together easily and started using it right away. I have no problem with its functionality, or the amount of soap it dispenses (we have it set on low), or the way it looks. But it's definitely "touchy". If I don't get my hand in the right spot no soap will come out - until I move my hand away and then the soap comes out and lands on the bottom of the dispenser. Most of the time it works fine, and I probably just have to learn where to put my hand, but it's annoying. It actually reminds me of how the Soap Genie started to behave when it was on its way out, and I hope it's not a bad sign for this dispenser. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, I just can't give it 5 stars because I know how much nicer it could be.
