worst customer service and disk itself:
this has the worst customer service and the slowest one. It looks like the technical support peopleare sleeping while replying. there is not effort made to contact the customer and they just sit on it. Never buy it.. My drive stopped working after 2 months and I am suffering.

The company promptly dealt with the issue, reimbursed me for return shipping fees, and sent me the same model. This model is working extremely well and is n excellent price for what is offered!
SimpleTech 250GB as good as it seems:
What's not to like? Great styling, PnP use, a whopping 250GB in a portable USB device, online storage/sharing application. The support site leaves a bit to be desired, but it's PnP/USB. The only thing I could wish for is Firewire support.

Simpletech is great! I use this drive to back up my entire hard drive. It's so great that my friends have asked me to help them buy it online too. It's small, sleek, and easy to use. Also the price have dropped considerably for the 250GB.
