Love it!:
This was one of the best Christmas gifts ever! I suffer from arthritis, connective tissue disease and fibromyalgia. Since sleeping on this mattress pad, I have felt incredible. I preheat the bed and then sleep with it on low all night, even when it isn't really cold. Fabulous! Even my husband, who is healthy, says the warming effect helps his sleep. Very easy to operate and the pad is very lush. I recommend it highly.

It really is worth it:
This is a top of the line matress pad and well worth the price. You do not feel the wires, the tempature is "accurate" and does not need to be set at the max setting to find comfort. If you pair this with an electric blanket - it's the best. From the time you get into bed, you get the warmth that you usually don't get until you have been wrapped up in blakents for a while. In addition, if you have muscle/joint soreness, the constant all-around warmth is a real relief. The one downside - the on/off buttons on the controls; the buttons are small. Late at night they are difficult to use but the dial for the temp control is great. The changeable faceplate is a real plus, especially if you also use an electric blanket and the controls for that are the same color.

In our desert climate, days are warm, but temperature drops swiftly at nite. This pad is well made and performs exactly as described.

I AM SO THRILLED WITH MY SUNBEAM HEATED MATTRESS PAD. I FEEL SECURE USING IT AND I FEEL NO WIRING OR UNCOMFORTABLE LUMPS UNDER ME WHEN LYING DOWN. I CAN'T WAIT FOR WINTER AGAIN.

Stops working:
We have gone through 2 of these mattress covers within the span of one season. Initially they work fine, then they seem to develop "cold spots". Eventually, they cease to function at all. Also, one of the digital controls started reading erratically, jumping from level to level. Too bad, as they are wonderfully comfortable. One would expect them to be a bit more reliable. I'd try a different brand.
