Same date reviews are Suspicious:
Check the date of the reviews before taking them serious. 6 of the 8 reviews were written on Sept. 28, and the other two reviews are doubtful. Just an observation and in conflict with the reviews of the non premium version ACT! 2008 10.0 .

Useful improvements:
I gave ACT 5 stars mainly because the built in features of scheduling, tracking history and building groups are pretty intuitive even to a non-technical person like me. Taking a one day class with an ACT consultant gave me a great kick-start and allowed me to discover some cool add-ons that I would not have found without their help. I did not like the version ACT 2005, but since then I have been very impressed. In fact I recently discovered how to easily integrate Outlook and ACT. That was the one imperfection that upset me in the past, and now I can honestly say that I am pretty pleased.

Powerful tool:
We recently upgraded to ACT! 2008 Premium for our firm. With staff in multiple states, the automatic synchronization feature makes it easier for us to stay connected. As a manager, the dashboard has really helped me to see where our sales are, and which sales person needs to step it up a bit. One warning, though, we had one old computer that needed to be upgraded before it could be installed.

Could not run my business without it!:
Love it, version 2008 is my favorite so far, and I have been running my business with ACT! since version 4.0 (6 versions ago). You need 1 GIG of RAm on your PC to be happy with the performance though, most newer computers have this these days.

Bogus reviews below.:
Great catch by the previous reviewer. If you check "all my reviews" by the glowing reviewers below, you'll see that several of them reviewed other Act versions--even different years--all on the same day. Probably best to try before you buy this one.
