Great From Start To Finish:
I purchased this disc with very little knowledge of Little Milton's work. I had purchased "Think of Me" on recommendations from others. I was disappointed in that particular album. So it was with trepidation I bought this album after hearing "That's What Love Will Make You Do." After hearing the first four tracks on this album I was blown out of my chair. Little Milton is a highly overlooked but amazing part of the blues and soul genres. The opening track contains more emotional singing than almost anything calling it self Rhythm and Blues, Soul, or Blues being produced today. The whole disc is an excellent example of pure powerful singing. Not to mention dynamics, proper band interplay, and guitar playing. This is not a disc to be missed if you are serious about music. Buy this one especially if you call yourself a fan of modern R & B or Neo-Soul. It is a much needed history lesson. If you want to sing in either genre this is a masters class in how it should be done.
