These swaddling blankets are SO worth the money! I received them as a gift and used them exclusively for my daughter. The instructional DVD is only 10 minutes and not only shows you HOW to use the blankets, it tells you why swaddling works (so take the time to watch it). My daughter was over 10 pounds at birth and didn't fit in the 30x30 receiving blankets for long! Since these are so much larger, we were able to continue to swaddle her until she no longer wanted to sleep with her arms confined. Once you're not swaddling, they're great as a lightweight nursing cover or shade from the sun.

I just discovered these blankets and had to buy 3 more. Everyone with a baby should buy these blankets. These are so much better than any receiving blankets I've used before. They are really big so it's really easy to keep your baby wrapped up especially if your baby likes to be swaddled. They are so light that they are perfect or hot weather. My daughter just loves to have these to grab on to.

I adore these blankets and they are perfect for summer. It covers the baby while keeping her cool, great for nursing b/c they are "breathable" and keeping the car seat covered while napping. My baby can get out of her swaddle in these blankets but I still love them and will get these for all friends that have summer newborns.
Great Blankets for summer weather!!!:
I was introduced to these blankets by my Doula, she gave a set to me as a gift. The blankets are cotton muslin, which makes them light and breathable - perfect for warm weather when you need a blanket to help shade during the day and actual warmth in the evening. The blankets are larger than normal baby blankets, so you can fold them in half or in quarters and still use them for baby. I've used them to keep the baby warm, to shade the baby on really sunny days, as a light cover when it's warmish but baby still sleeps better with a cover to hold. I love retro designs and the little space ships and graphics in this set grabbed me! Fabulous for your baby or as a gift!!!
