This is an amazing assortment of ideas contained in one slim volume that covers everything from school administrative issues in early childhood education to understanding grandparents in the lives of children to siblings in early childhood educaton. All of the chapters are focused on the idea of strengthening the relational connection between young children and the most influential human forces in their lives. I feel quite blessed to have been a part of co-writing a chapter (on preventing homelessness in very young families) from the book along with the illustrious Dr. Kevin Swick.
