Umm...?:
Where's "All These Things That I've Done"? And "Tender"? I give it three stars for the amazing "Star-Spangled Banner," but missing the closing credits song and the ONE SONG that featured prominantly in the series (movie and graphic novel)? WTF?

Soundtrack is incomplete:
A popular auction site (incorrectly) lists this soundtrack as having 30 tracks. Perhaps this soundtrack was originally intended to be a two-disc set, and it was (criminally) cut to a single disc by simply dropping the second disc! I'd love to have the full sountrack, but it doesn't seem to exist. Here's the full track list: 1. Wave Of Mutilation - Pixies (UK Surf Version) 2. Oh My Angel - Bertha Tillman 3. Howl - Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (Extended Version) 4. Look Back In - Moby 5. Me & Bobby McGee - Waylon Jennings 6. Chord Sounds - Moby 7. Lucky Me - Roger Webb 8. 3 Steps - Moby 9. Broken Hearted Savior - Big Head Todd & The Monsters 10. Teen Horniness Is Not a Crime - Abbey McBride/ClarKent/Sarah Michelle Gellar 11. Tiny Elephants - Moby 12. Forget Myself - Elbow 13. Star Spangled Banner, The - Rebekah Del Rio & The Section Quartet 14. Three Days - Jane's Addiction (Live Version) 15. Memory Gospel - Moby 16. If I Could Be With You - Louis Armstrong 17. Planet Telex - Radiohead 18. Tender - Blur 19. Blackout - Muse 20. Broken Hearted Savior - Big Head Todd & The Monsters 21. Three Days - Jane's Addiction 22. All These Things That I've Done - The Killers 23. Real Thing, The - The Shakers 24. Oh My Angel - Bertha Tillman 25. Wave Of Mutilation - The Pixies 26. Alendilch Strahit Der - Richard Wagner 27. Lucky Me - Roger Webb 28. Star Spangled Banner, The - Rebekah Del Rio 29. Symphony No 9 - Ludwig Von Beethoven 30. Forget Myself - Elbow

Matches the Mood of the Movie Perfectly:
I must say, after watching the trailer for Southland Tales, then the film itself, Moby's original score is one of his best works ever. There are several tracks by other artists included, featuring Jane's Addiction, and the superior "surf" version of The Pixies' "Wave of Mutilation" that add to the fatalistic tone of the film. Two of the Moby tracks are from his Hotel.Ambient disc while the other 4 are orignals, and are my favorite of the entire soundtrack. Definite mood music.

Teen Horniness Is Not A Crime!:
I have to say that I originally got this album just for the song "Teen Horniness Is Not A Crime" and believe me that's worth it in itself. I was surprised to find that the rest of the music is pretty good too. Actually I wasn't that surprised, it's a fantastic movie and should have a fantastic soundtrack too.

A Memory Gospel:
This is an almost-perfect soundtrack that effectively captures all of the ups and downs of the movie Southland Tales. Songs from many different decades appears on this sountrack and original music by Moby is amazing. The soundtrack is missing a few songs from the movie, most noteably "All These Things That I've Done" by the 'The Killers' so I cannot give it 5 stars. Overall, it is still a diverse and fun listen.
